​NEXT STEPS:

1. Purchase a jersey (and other team items!) in our Team Store:
  • ALL SRMTB athletes are required to have a team jersey. If you are new to the team, you will need to purchase either a sport cut or Ilex cut jersey. (Sport Cut are more fitting – consider sizing up 2-sizes, Ilex are more traditional cut) Not sure what size? Come to our Parent/Rider Info Night: Thursday, 10/24 at 7pm; Bella Mar Pavilion.
  • Have a jersey from last year that still fits? No need to purchase a new one, but head to the Team Store to purchase new SRMTB team gear!

  • Team Store closes November 16, 2024!!

2. ALL athletes (new and returning) will need to register with the Texas NICA League ($350 Program Fee) through PitZone. Registration in PitZone will open 10/1/24. This registration is required before athletes can ride with the team as this is our insurance coverage. We will remind you via email when PitZone registration opens!

3. Mark your calendar!
  • Parent/Rider Info Night: Thursday, 10/24, 7pm at Bella Mar Pavilion (directions).
  • First Practice: Saturday, November 9th, 9am at Laura Welch Bush Elementary (directions).

4. Required Gear: Bike/Safety/Repair
  • Mountain bike (proper working order)
  • Bike helmet (proper fit and good condition)
  • Gloves (preferably full-finger)
  • Spare inner tubes - even if you are running tubeless
  • Closed-toe shoes (no sandals)
  • Water bottles or hydration pack
  • Hand Pump or CO2 with inflator head
