​NEXT STEPS:

1. Purchase a jersey (and other team items!) in our Team Store:
  • ALL SRMTB athletes are required to have a team jersey. If you are new to the team, you will need to purchase either a Prisma, Omni Ultimate or Ilex cut jersey. (the Prisma and Omni Ultimate are race-style jerseys and tighter fitting (size up 1or 2 sizes to get a looser fit), Ilex are more traditional cut t-shirt style). We will have "fit kits" at the parent/rider info night so you can try them on and ensure you get the right size/fit. 
  • Please come to our Parent/Rider Info Night: Thursday, October 23rd at 7pm; Bella Mar Pavilion.
  • Have a jersey from last year that still fits? No need to purchase a new one, but head to the Team Store to purchase new SRMTB team gear!

  • Team Store closes November 24th, 2025!!

2. ALL athletes (new and returning) will need to register with the Texas NICA League ($350 Program Fee) through PitZone. Registration in PitZone will open 10/1/25. This registration is required before athletes can ride with the team as this is our insurance coverage. We will remind you via email when PitZone registration opens!

3. Mark your calendar!
  • Parent/Rider Info Night: Thursday, October 23rd, 7pm at Bella Mar Pavilion (directions).
  • Coaches Meeting: Thursday October 9th at Bella Mar Pavilion (directions).
  • First Practice: Saturday, November at Laura Welch Bush Elementary (directions).

4. Required Gear: Bike/Safety/Repair
  • Mountain bike (proper working order)
  • Bike helmet (proper fit and good condition)
  • Gloves (preferably full-finger)
  • Spare inner tubes - even if you are running tubeless
  • Closed-toe shoes (no sandals)
  • Water bottles or hydration pack
  • Hand Pump or CO2 with inflator head
